Twin Willows Family Trees

I thought that it would be nice to document some of the family trees that I deem to be "successes" or at least "apparent successes." Please be aware, that after eight years of goats, we are not nearly where we would like to be.  Every time we breed a goat, we carefully select a sire that we think would complement and improve her.  Sometimes that pairing is a win.  Oftentimes, though, it results in a cull. Sometimes we get lucky on the first try, and some lines we are still working on to find a successful mating.

​Here are some of our lines from our foundation does. We are starting (2018) to bring some of these successful lines together to create one big, happy Twin Willows style herd. It's a LONG, LONG process but I'm proud of how far we've come.  Remember...it DOES matter what you start with, but it matters MORE how far you can go with what you have.
