This weekend we will be attending the Lawrence County Expo in Bedford, Indiana. This Sunday only ADGA dairy goat show will kick off the 2013 season for us. One of the most exciting times for goat breeders is getting to shave off all the winter yucks, and uncovering what lies beneath all of that thick hair! Which means, I will most likely be covered in goat hair and hoof clippings for the next couple of days. Our goaties will be getting the full spa treatment to welcome spring! Also note...we believe that Muse may have settled on her first breeding, which would make her due to kid within the next couple of days. Her ligs are soft, and she has started pawing the ground a bit. I expect her to udder up any day now. She has been locked down in the kidding stall for the night, and we will see how she acts tomorrow to see if she is as close as we believe she is. More babies SOON!!
