I know my blogs have been sparse lately, and I apologize. We have had quite a busy fall, and it's been so hard to keep up! I just updated the breeding schedule for Spring with a couple of changes, and also added planned breedings for Summer kiddings. As I was uploading pictures to add to the breeding schedule, I realized that I am WAY far behind on pictures. I just added Annie, Apple, and Airess to the breeding schedule for Summer and I only had BABY PICTURES of them!! All three are now eight months old, and they are all growing into beautiful teenagers! Annie and Apple are both showing strong toplines, well defined briskets, and great body capacity. We can't wait to see the udders that Topper gave them! Their dam, Trixie, has a very soft, buttery and capacious udder, and we expect Annie and Apple to surpass her in that regard. Airess is really an exceptional little doe, as I knew she would be. I named her Airess E'lan because her dam, Airianna, is absolutely amazing and I knew she would follow as the "heiress to the crown." Her sire, CH Rosasharn BB Chocolate Moose (deceased) was also very exceptional, so I added E'lan (Moose in French) so that his legacy is also attached to her name. Airess has not disappointed, as she earned her Junior Leg at less than two months old. She is an extremely beautiful, very dairy doe with very correct feet and legs. I also moved Tator's breeding from Spring to Summer. Tator came down with a really bad case of worms, and she lost alot of her condition. Everything is under control now, but we want to give her a few more months to recover and get some weight on her before we breed her. We are really excited to see what her and Mischief produce! Anyways, I feel really horrible that I am so far behind, but I will try to get some updated pictures on the website very soon so that you can see my beautiful little babies all grown up! I'll leave you with a picture I took today of Brandon and Asteroid. Asteroid likes to call LOUDLY for his momma when you pick him up, and he had just settled down when I took the pic. He eventually fell asleep on Brandon's lap! You can see Momma Precious watching to make sure he is okay. She's such a good mom!
